I always wondered what I would do if called for jury duty. I served once, but that was pre-IBS. And even so, I was very careful then not to eat anything before the day's hearings and at lunch break, 'cause I knew......
Do you think you'd have spoken up to the judge, Hawkeye? I mean, when he asked if you had any reason why you could not serve? I'd have had to speak up. I'd have been extremely embarrassed, but I wouldn't have had any other choice. Just appearing before him would have torn up my tummy, so I know I couldn't have served. And I'm sure I would have had to take an entire box of Equalactin before showing up. Yikes!
Oh well, good thing it's over. And yes, now you appreciate your job. It's a very good thing.
