They called me in my 5th year of university - which would totally have screwed up my year. I got the dean to write me a letter and I handed it to the clerk and I was on my way. Wouldn't mind doing it later in life, though. Funny, it's supposed to be a random selection... but all 4 of my family members were called within a year and a half! Random indeed! My Mom was selected for a murder trial but got excused when my Dad had a heart attack.
