dismissed from jury duty!       01/18/06 03:06 PM Edit Reply Quote hawkeye Reged: 06/16/03 Posts: 705 Loc: NYC I learned today, there's nothing to make you appreciate your job like being on jury duty! I got off very easy, I sat in a room with about 400 people for the entire day without having my name called. We were told we would all be there minimum 2 days and probably 3, more if we were on a case. At the end of the day I was dismissed without ever being called for anything. I would happily be on a jury if I could have bathroom breaks whenever necessary, but since that isn't a possibility, I was stressing all day (my stomach is in knots) about having to explain ibs-d and panic attacks to the judge. Also I wasn't able to get a note from the doctor in time. Anyway, I'm pretty relieved to be out and going to work tomorrow!
