I ended up in A & E a few weeks ago twice, the first time i was severly Constipated it was excruciating, i called for an ambulance. They gave me morphine but it didn't help. When i arrived, I was told i would need an enema after he saw my Xray and was put on salin drip. The next thing i said i needed to go to the toilet, i ended up with Diarrea so the doctor let me go home soon after, only for me to be rushed back by another ambulance 6 hours later, with bleeding and diarrea, but after another examination by another doctor, he said i should be ok and it will clear up after a couple of days. Thank God it did. So since then i've been very careful. the reason why all this happened is because my GP prescribed antibiotics which caused me to end up with sever IBS and was hard to control. I live on my own now. So it can be a bummer when nobody is here to support. Wish you all a late Happy Christmas and Chanucah and hope you all have a totally free IBS New Year. I like both holidays.
