have to do now is bide my time, and I'm sure as soon as a retirement comes to pass I will be a shoe in. Teaching mentally disabled kids helped me learn about fetal alcohol syndrome, ADHD, learning disabilities and behaviour disorders, as well as asperger's syndrome. i had it all in this class, and it was such a tough assignment, even my admins said so....so I'll be able to easily teach any facet of special ed now. i believe that this class was one of the most complicated assignments a teacher could get. And I didn't get eaten alive! I feel great about that.
