RAM installation question       12/20/05 08:18 AM Edit Reply Quote jrs Reged: 03/31/03 Posts: 317 Loc: Aberystwyth, Wales OK, I'm hoping someone out there has more of a grasp of computers than I have. I just installed an additional 512MB of RAM into my laptop, but am getting the following from the task manager: The question I have is that 468 PF use + 525 free doesn't add up to 1047 total. Am I just doing the calculation wrong? I just want to make sure that it's installed correctly. - Vincent Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
