I saw this black satin strapless dress with a stiff new underskirt that looked SO Sarah Jessica Parker that I had to buy it. I wore it to the work do just so I could wear it somewhere! I'm wearing it in my latest profile pic, but you can't really see it cause it's strapless. Hehee... I love dressing up. I say go with the black pants tho. Black pants are classic and you can't tell one pair from another so noone will know or care if you wore them last year. If you have the money, get a pretty little top and a nice slim-waisted tailored jacket to wear over the top.
