You are an adult and maybe the warnings are directed more towards children. He is on 54mg a day, which my understanding is an adult dosage. My guess is it is too much of a stimulate for him. He has tried all ADHD meds and none of them really work. He does great during the day - no problems, but between 5:00 - 6:00 everynight the problems begin. Another side effect and less common is Reactive Effect. The meds increase his anxiety level after the medicine effects wear off, along with the behavior problems. There are some people who can not take ADHD meds and my son more likely is one of them. Looking forward to Wednesday with the couselor and hopfully things begin to resolve.
