Brandy- nice to meet you, thanks for the nice comments
jen1013- we got tons of pics from relatives and friends too and some are great. Our photographer was guy around our age, a friend of a friend who is just starting out, he was so easy to deal with and had some great ideas.
Your pics sound hilarious. Some of my favourite wedding ones are the "candid" photojournalist type ones, I wish we had more of them.
As for the hair- thanks to all who commented- it took ages to decide what to do with it! In the end I got it curled with a GHD hair straightener and the front section pulled back sideways. I wore a veil briefly as the day was so windy it fell off going into the church, so I wish that I had had a prettier hairslide (which would have been hidden by the veil)
Thanks Nelly and Tommy- you have both met us in the flesh so know what a transformation it was!
