I know exactly what you mean, and I agree. I bought the antibiotics from a friend who didn't use them because he was admitted to the hospital for his infection after ha bought them/before he had a chance to take the first one. I was treated in France for my stomach when I was there in September/October, but I finished the meds I got there (for free, as I have dual US-French nationality). My docs there lambasted the american system too.
I have freely traded, sold and bought meds before as the need arose, and have friends who do the same, not to get rich but to help out people and get help myself. And if I could afford the $225 Lyme disease test, I'd get it. I can't even afford gas for my car this month, much less bread... I'm finishing off the cans in the cupboard as it is until I get paid $297 on the 28th.
