You COULDN'T have said it better! My poor little dogbert Kodiak was mistreated before he got to us, and we are very good to him to make up for how he suffered. It makes me embarrassed to be human for what people will do to animals (and to each other, for that matter), and it takes strong, caring, knowledgable people to stand up to unjust caretakers. Yea for us.
