Obituary

Jesse Alan Christensen, of Bellevue, died in Issaquah on Thursday, November 24, 2005. He was 29 years old.

Mr. Christensen was born on November 12, 1976 in Provo, Utah, the son of Leroy Christensen and Roxann Fonoimoana. He was raised in Port Orchard and graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1995. During high school he was on the tennis and swim teams, was a member of the Deca Club, and worked locally for Mary Mac's restaurant at McCormick Woods. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout. During college he worked for Anthony's Restaurant in Bellevue and Daniel's Broiler in Seattle. He attended Western Washington University, Tacoma Community College, and graduated from the University of Washington in June 2000 with a degree in business.

At the time of his death, he was a Product Support Specialist for GE Financial Services in Bellevue. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Jesse is survived by his father Leroy Christensen of Port Orchard, his mother Roxann Fonoimoana of Illinois, sisters Tawna Pippen (husband Stuart) of Taylorsville, Utah, and Sunni Christensen of Port Orchard, brothers Teage Christensen (wife Erin) of Snoqualmie, Brett Christensen (wife Beth) of Sammamish, and Brook Christensen of Taylorsville, Utah, and by his best friend Veronica Hernandez of Port Orchard. He is survived also by his grandmothers Victoria (Fonoimoana) Christensen of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Engla Christensen of Taylorsville, Utah, by a nephew, Ethan, a niece, Kiana, and by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Viewings will be held Tuesday, November 29, 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Wednesday, November 30, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Flintoft's Funeral Home, 540 East Sunset Way, Issaquah, WA 98027.

A memorial service and celebration will be held Wednesday, November 30, 3:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 15205 SE 28th St., Bellevue, WA 98007 (meetinghouse behind The Seattle LDS Temple).

The family suggests remembrances to The Jesse Alan Christensen Memorial Trust.

Friends are invited to share memories and sign the family's on-line guest book at www.flintofts.com.

Arrangements are by Flintoft's Funeral Home and Crematory


How very very sad.....
