What I didn't understand was you calling your boss a "b*tch" for writing you up for doing something she's made it clear is unacceptable. I am aware of your chronic insomnia, but I was trying to emphasize that to some people, tardiness is unacceptable. To this supervisor being on time is obviously important. You admitted that you're coming in considerably later than your coworkers (more than 90 minutes later than some of them)--and then you're saying you're late on top of that? Sorry, but I'd write you up for that too! If you two had come to an agreement that promptness is not important, then that would be different story. But you know this is something she expects of you. She's obviously not going to make an exception for you because of your condition. So this job is not a good fit for you. Hopefully, you can find another position soon that will allow you the flexibility you need. There are jobs like that---this is just not one of them. I hope you can make a change soon, because I hate to see this causing you such stress. No job is worth that! I don't do well without sleep either, and I don't know how you function during the day without it. Could you not work from home?
