Surgery Update!!       09/30/05 06:39 AM Edit Reply Quote Kimm Reged: 03/10/04 Posts: 1171 Loc: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Well....yesterday was the surgery and it couldn't have gone any better!! I was extremely nervous going into it but when I woke up I felt FINE!! I was actually hungry!! I didn't feel sick to my stomach at all!! So I got home around 5pm last night and my friend came to stay with me (she's staying until Sunday). My boobs look really boxy and square right now. I have tubes in each side of me draining out blood and fluid but I can't feel them at all. There's a home nurse coming in 20 minutes to remove them and change my bandages. The pain is not bad....I woke up this morning though and had to take a pain pill right away because I hadn't had one in 7 hours. I have to sleep on my back because of the tubes and dressings but hopefully when the tubes come out today I'll be more comfortable to sleep. I go back to the surgeon on Monday to get my bandages removed completely and then I can start showering. Anyway....I have to get ready for the nurse so I'm out of here for now.
