I can't believe that's a bridesmaid dress, either!
As for wedding shoes (and this is just my 2 cents) don't feel you have to spend a bunch of money on shoes at the wedding salon, especially if no one is going to see your feet. I did spend money on my shoes & had them dyed to match my dress. They were comfortable, yes, but I could have found a better price elsewhere and found a reasonably priced pair of shoes I'd be likely to wear again. I haven't had my wedding shoes on since. I could have bought a nice pair of good old Doc Martens for what they cost, and I'd wear those for another 5 years!
