We got swarmed recently....       09/14/05 05:46 AM Edit Reply Quote bamagirl Reged: 04/02/04 Posts: 1407 Loc: Alabama Back in the late spring/early summer, our house was swarmed. If I understand it right, the queen was looking for a new place to nest, and all the drones just swarmed wherever she landed. We had bees coming in the windows, doors, through the electical sockets...it was like something out of a bad horror flick! I had about 200 bees in my laundry room alone! Thankfully, they apparently found a better place to build the hive, because they were gone in about 24 hours. It sounds like they must have come to your house! Check your area and see if there are any local honey keepers. They are always happy to come and remove bees that have begun a hive in someone's home. We had a bee keeper on the way to our house when the bees finally moved away on their own! It is an unusual problem. I hope you can find someone to help. -------------------- God is Faithful!
