Yes, it's fun! What's even funnier, is that she's "contagious!" Okay, I'd better clarify that generic comment. Re: the pungent odour--I figured, if you can't beat 'em, may as well join 'em. So...I ate 3/4 c. red onion! And then I got so warped...I figure...what the hell, why not have a beastly salad! (She was eating raw cabbage--go figure!) The sulfur around here is getting to my brain. At least it's good for hair growth and skin.
She's fun. She gets me chatting. I often go days without talking out loud. She's also bugging me to get my eyes looked after. My eyesight is so awful that it's interfering with my life. Things that I was formerly passionate about, i.e. reading/books/lit. are painful, a chore. I miss that joy, that pleasure.
She's funny, too. She watches at least 5 hours of t.v. She's glued to the tube, with a dictionary. This is how she's learning her conversational English. She's actually quite good, considering. She's a soap opera/talk show addict--"Passions" and "The Young and the Restless," "Oprah" and "Dr. Phil..."
Kate.
