I had a red daschund as a child. He was one of the big ones. I loved that dog! His name was Mugsy. We have a big beag and a little beag. The biggest one, Mulligan, weighs about 34 pounds. He is 3-4 years old. Little Bitsy is only 16 pounds and we think she's 1-2 years old. They were both adopted from a beagle rescue so we're not sure about their age or background. They are both tri-colored (red, black and white). They are hilarious together! Everyone thinks they're mother and daughter! When Mulligan won't get out of her way, Bitsy just ducks and walks under his legs. She is quite spunky! He is Mr. Laid Back, and she runs circles around him, trying to get him to play. If a dog could roll his eyes at her, that is what he looks like he is doing to her! We have this double leash that we walk them on in the neighborhood, and Mulligan has to lift his leg on every tree, mailbox, or bush. The problem is she's always right behind him and he wets on her! I have some really cute pictures of them together, but I don't know how to post them. Maybe I could get my teenage son to help me tomorrow. (He's never home.) My dogs are my therapy. When I'm really sad, I just lie on the floor and they crawl all over me, licking me in the face. They are always happy to see me, which is more than I can say about the rest of the family members. Ha!
