I had to exagerate a little by saying I was having suicidal thoughts so they HAD to, by law, get me into a psych hospital. It was the best thing I ever did. I was with people who were way worse than me, but it was such a good experience. I learned so much. Some was pretty dorky (crafts etc.), but there was a lot of group therapy things and talking out loud to other people was really good.You really sound like you need to be in a place where they can see for themselves what you are going through. And if they give you meds you don't have to be afraid of them because there is always someone there to help you.
