Hello everyone, my daughter (10years old) was just diagnosed with IBS...the doctor has her on Librax which is supposed to help her deal with this and not really alleviate the pain. She has the terrible cramps in her stomach through out the day (more often if she doesn't have a BM in the morning)and of course has them with the BM and then they subside. I am meeting with her teacher to discuss the different things she experiences with this (cramps sometimes severe, shortness of breath and some chest discomfort and nausea) so she is not assuming she just "wants to get out of class for something". I am relieved that I have a name for what she has been experiencing. Is there anyone else on here that has a child that has this and how you keep their spirits up and anything I can do to help her with this. She is very open with me with what she is feeling and when etc... Thanks if anyone can help
