Just an update. They are quite sure of the bipolar diagnosis. Apparently, it goes hand in hand with postpartum depression and OCD. I'm on new meds, and it looks like I'm going to be on meds for life for this.
I feel very drained. It has been a very emotional time. DH has been so supportive - took the day off to come and get me, and is taking tomorrow off, too, so I can ease back into things. Wonderful seeing the kids again - I missed them SO much!
All I can say is this - if you're really depressed, MAKE THE CALL. Get the help you need. It was the hardest call I've ever made, but my family is very proud of me for having the guts to call.
