My family doesn't stop by often at all. I love my in-laws, but quite freqently they annoy the CRAP out of me. They have a dinner or movie radar. If ever my husband and I actually sit down to dinner or start a movie, my MIL calls. And she doesn't get off of the phone either. I have stopped answering at all during those times.
