We worked in the same building, and he wrote me a long letter and dropped it off at my desk... we'd only been dating a few weeks. I read it that evening as soon as I could, and knew that he was at church that night, so wrote a long letter back to him... everything was so sweet! I drove to his church and put the letter in his car and went back home. When the phone rang about an hour later I about passed out, and he said he was coming over. It wasn't actually a proposal, just an agreement... we both knew. Since then, we have definitely realized that we didn't give it enough time before we took the step... perhaps we are really NOT for each other, but have withstood the many storms and are determined to make it work. 17 yrs plus now. Work at it everyday. ~K~
