I would have told your niece to "cut the crap. If you want to act like this around your home it is okay, but you weren't going to put up with it." If your sister didn't like it tell her the same. Luckily I get along fine with my brother's kids, but they are all in theeir teens and twenties now. They had their moments though when I felt like putting them through a wall. Aunts have rights too!!!
