Ok, so how hard were you guys praying for me yesterday? I don't think it's just a coincidence that I ended up on a bench outside Border's Bookstore yesterday and when leaving, I saw a sign advertising "positions open" at the store next door. I took a resume by today and talked to the manager and now she wants me to come in for an interview tomorrow!
It's for a sales position at a new CargoKids store near my house. If you haven't been in one of these, you will have to check it out. It has the cutest things! They have kids' furniture (bunkbeds, desks, etc.) and lots of accessories (comforters, window treatments, pillows and baskets.) They are owned by Pier One, my other favorite store--- if that tells you anything about the place.
The manager said she was looking for someone who's good at decorating because that is her weakness. When I told her that's my strength, she seemed really interested! It would be 20-35 hours a week. Hope it works out. I would love working there. And thanks for the prayers, ladies! Do you think you could do this again tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. EST?
