I gotta say, I loooove haggling. I'm good at it too, but it's hard to be around me in the sales office if I'm playing the bad cop, you know? I learned from my mom who used to take me to the Arab market in Paris every Saturday. She's NEVER paid the written price for anything you could buy outside. LOL! The $75 gift certificate from the furniture company was a real coup though, and totally unexpected. I would have been happy if they gave me $20 off the delivery price!! I agree things are way overpriced nowadays. I always ask if there's a better price, if things are going on sale soon or if there's a break for cash up front.
