Dalia! First of all - we're SO pround of you! I'm sure it was awful and horrible and yucky and disgusting!!! But now it is over and YOU DID IT! It's important to figure out what's going on inside you and that's a good way to start.
Now, for my questions, since I will be doing this test in a couple of weeks (poor me)! I've heard they shake you to get the barium to go down through your intestines and coat your stomach - did they really shake you?!? Also, the nurse I spoke to said my test is at 8:30 in the morning, but I should be fine to into work that afternoon. I don't know how I feel about that. Having just done the deed - what do you think - how would you feel in an office setting right now trying to be productive in putting together your briefings and reports and letters and whatever regarding religious persecution in China and North Korea (since that's what I do)? Also - as the day goes on - let me know how things go with getting the barium out of you - I don't know about you, but I'm nearly as afraid about the barium pooh as I am about the barium drink...
Thanks Dalia - and again - you're a brave soul! Keep your spirits up and I'm sure you'll get through all your tests with flying colors!
