I started the morning feeling a bit out of it since we had thunderstorms most of the morning and my dog was going nuts from the thunder and keeping me from falling back to sleep. So I am dragging already from not getting enough sleep and my stomach starts acting up with cramping. I drank my Citrucel and munched on a bagel to at least have food in my tummy. I kept sipping water and munching on dry rice and corn chex. But even that wasn't appetizing to me. I ate simply because I needed food in the tummy. I hardly ate anything today-no protein which seems a bit scary to me, but I did get plenty of SF and water (maybe too much water since I keep having to go to the bathroom).
We had a potential candidate for an opening in our office come in to interview so I couldn't escape early and the end of the fiscal year is Thursday so I have been working on the books and having all the stress from my boss who is new to his job and clueless to how to do year end. Both he and I have too much on our plates at work right now and to have my tummy acting up last Monday and again today/tonight/tomorrow since I am not sure where I am at with this day.
I was planning to go to bed early tonight like I had been since last Monday when I wasn't feeling good. But Mom called and needed me to run an errand for her to pick something up at store here in town since the two stores back home were out of it and I have three of the same store here in town. I didn't mind doing the errand, since it would put me still in bed early, but she decided that her, my dad and kid sister would all drive out to pick it up tonight since they weren't doing anything. Great that means they aren't showing up here until 10:00 when I would rather be sleeping.
Course they want to sit and chit chat for another hour...now it's 11:15 and I have to go to work tomorrow. I try laying in bed to fall asleep and its too hot in the house. My fiance and dog are both snoring so loudly that I move to the guest room to try and get sleep.
So just as I am about to fall asleep and ignore the achy tummy I hear screaming and swearing like two people are fighting. The guest room is located next to the street and across from a high school. I look outside and there is a kid wandering all over the school's property yelling into his cell phone about this that and the other. Maybe if his car had broken down, I could see being frustrated and yelling, but there is no car....no one else. So after 5 minutes of his ranting, raving and swearing every other word, I call the non-emergency police number to report it. The poor dispatcher must have been having a bad day too since I told her what was going on and all I wanted was sleep and to have this kid ranting wasn't doing me any good after the thunderstorms. So they send a squad car over-at least no lights and sirens, until the kid starts screaming at them and everything goes nuts. Next thing I know I have two more squad cars on the scene and they are hauling him off. At least the noise has stopped, but now the stomach is acting up that I can't fall asleep. I feel nauseous probably from not really eating anything so I am trying to sip water and munch on a few crackers to see if that will help.
All I really want is some sleep. Sorry for the rant.
