1. My beautiful husband Asaf, who cuts up ginger root when I am nauseous in the middle of the night, whenever, strokes my hair and tells me he loves me. I would shrink away without him. 2. This board which took away all the isolation of having had IBS for so long. There is always a place I can come when it all gets too much to bear. 3. My best friends back in London who continue to stay in amazing touch and are there for me when I need them. 4. My loving Mummy and Daddy who listen and support me (for the most part!!) till I am blue in the face, and for being my friends too. 5. My baby brother Leon (age 23!!) who never judges or finds fault, just listens and makes me laugh. He is perfect. 6. For this yucky humid weather which I prefer so much to any other season!! :-) 7. For a bathroom full of magazines and books and my diary to help me through the endless sitting there. 8. For Asaf making enough money to allow me to work part time and relax. 9. For studying clinical nutrition and naturopathy and allowing me to enter a world where one day I will help others. 10. For hope. Hope that I will find the cure for this, that I will find healing eventually, that this is going to be ok, that this is happening for a reason, and that one day it will be part of my past and not my present.
