I've been on depo for a year and a half, and I've only had 1 period in that time, and that was because I got my shot later in the two week window you have to get it. I get my shot in the beginning of the two weeks I can get it, and I don't get my period at all. I've had no problems other than that!
Granted I know when January roles around, they're going to want to take me off the depo because of long term use health risks....but honestly being on depo has helped so much in getting me IBS stable not to mention I'm not incapacitated at least one day a month now!
