Re: Email virus-W32So big       08/22/03 06:02 PM Edit Reply Quote berky Reged: 06/26/03 Posts: 171 Loc: New York state I got hit with the virus mentioned above, and got about 100 emails that were infected with it, from people I don't even know! Then this morning, my computer showed the message 'Invalid system disk' and wouldn't function. I called the support people and they told me to unhook the keyboard and plug it back in. This allowed me to use the computer. Then they said to go to www.symantec.com which gives directions on how to check your computer for the virus. ( I don't know if this only works for Dell or any computer) The scan showed my computer was not infected but this seems to have stopped all the emails, thank God! -------------------- "Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend.
