Hi Kelly, Crohn's is an auto-immune disorder. You'd actually be surprised at how much more common they've become (unfortunately). The only good thing about thier spread is that research has been more effective and there's more funding floating around for good research, so the drugs have gotten much better. For now, I am glad that your doctors are finally looking at this more closely and perhaps they will find something to help! We all hope so muchly!!
