My girlfriend is going through the same thing right now...it's not that she pees - she won't pee - she will literally hold it all day and then pee in her pullup.
But my advice...don't push it...put him in a pullup and let him go if he wants to go....it will only become a battle of wits between the two of you and my GF told me that she read in parenting mags that it's not the best idea. Just go with it.
She designed a sticker page with potties and panties and toilet paper etc on them and they stick stickers on these pages to keep her distracted and enjoy the bathroom. She only gets them if she sits on the potty so they are posted above her potty.
Because the rewards never worked for her either....anyway - hope this helps even a bit Good luck, I can't imagine what you're going through!!! Only 1 more year (at the MOST) and I will be dealing with it so I will in NO WAY judge you.
