I did give up beer - the bloating from it is just awful and I was happy to find the source of that and eliminate it from here forward. I also have trouble with sour mix. But most weekends, I do still end up having a drink or two, after a meal. I drink a glass or wine here and there, Bailey's (dairy - really bad - but I LOVE the stuff), and vodka martinis of various sorts are yummy too. I tend to sip at my drinks - like nursing allong one drink while my freinds go through three or four in the same period. So as you can see, everyone has different rules - you just have to see where the lines fall for you. Just make sure that you decide based on how YOU feel and not the peer pressure thing! Good luck!
