I understand your point as well. The families who have both mom and dad work just to keep their "stuff" is not right to either. I apologize because I thought you meant in general moms should be a stay at home mom.
I agree! If one can afford a $200,000 home, new vehicles etc. you should put your children first and stay with them, play with them and teach them all you can before they go to school.
It's scary to me what parenting has turned into. Life is turning into keeping up with the Jones' and buying and "toys and stuff" instead of building a loving and caring home.
Although, right now I have to admit we have alot of "stuff", my husband and I both agree that when we have children sacrifices have to made to nurture you children.
Honestly, I think the divorce rate is high everywhere. It's scary how quickly people give up on their marriages, commit adultery and how fast you can get a divorce pushed through. And they wonder why people don't try so hard at their marriages.
My parents were divorced about 5 years ago.
Anyways - I see your point - we were on the same pages. I was just a few lines down I guess LOL
