I had my bday celebration over the weekend and I couldn't have been more off the diet if I'd LIT THE SHOTS ON FIRE BEFORE GULPING THEM DOWN. Well, at least that's what my belly felt like the next morning. I had a good night tho. I think after my trip to England, I'm going to relinquish my amateur drinker status and just turn pro. Gotta get sponsorship tho... those shooters can be expensive! Long story short, it all goes to quality of life. And I want my life to be punctuated by rich moments, and not to live in a completely safe bubble. The big picture mandates that I keep myself well overall, that I destress and mind my diet seriously, so that I can walk through life a well person and not someone in constant pain. And then I pick my moments to shatter my health with a slice of lasagne and a world of hurt later!! Good to remind myself every now and again (but not constantly!) that if I pay the piper I can splurge! Cos if I didn't, I'd be more tempted to cheat a little every day, but then I'd be a sickie constantly! ~nelly~ Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
