Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

Don't know what happened but I'm ALWAYS complaining on here. Maybe it wasn't meant as an insult. I've tried Heather's diet. Unfortunately the D got so bad I couldn't leave the loo! Then my doctor diagnosed me with malnutrician so I had to start eating properly for a while. I've been on both ends of the IBS scale too. C as a kid which turned to D as a teen. Both are awful although I think I prefer the D a little as at least I don't have that clogged feeling.
I know it won't get better as I get older, but I live in hope that by then they might have found something to help. They have to find something eventually, even if it helps just a little bit.
Hope you decide to come back to the boards. It's nice to have many different perspectives from all different ages. Plus it's nice to have support and friends who know what you're going through.
The sleep thing is awful, I drag myself through every day, can't wait for bedtime, then bedtime comes and i'm wide awake!
