Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

Hi doubletrouble,I thought I was the only one who couldn't sleep.I'm up every night an I take Ambien for sleep an Lortab for pain,But sometime it just dosen't work.
Tonight my feet an legs burn so bad.an no one will till me what to do for them.I'm also a Diabetic,I have Arthritis,an high blood.an I also have IBS.I use to be on the broad all the time.because I thought that was what the broad was for to help people who ask about different things,maybe I could help them because I'm older an maybe they could help me.but a member of the broad hurt my feeling very bad by saying I complain to much,so I stop writeing.I still read alot of the people who post,I just want to tell you all I'm 70 an didn't start falling apart till I was 60 work up till I was 60 an couldn't work any more because of the IBS.I may have had the IBS when I was younger .but back in them days they didn't know nothing about it.any how I had the D for a long time an now it has turn an I have the C.there are time I won't leave my house.because of everything I just hurt to bad,Please don't think I'm complaining because I'm not.I just want some of you young people to know IBS won't get better.because right now they really don't know to much about it.you have to take care of yourself.eat right,
Heather's food is very good,there is alot I can't eat because of my being a diabetic but I work around it,I have very good days an very bad days.today was a D day so I have to think back an remember what I ate,an cross it off of my list.I could go on all night you know I'm old but not dumb
an I really don't think I complain that much for what I have been thru this past three years,IBS is no fun but read Heathers book an try some of her food,you got to want to get up on your feet an try .I was so bad I couldn't even walk down the street,I have had 2 surgery in the last 21/2 years first I had a my gall Bladder remove they thought that was my trouble,still more pain so they run me thru a lot of test no luck so they gave me a exploratory surgery.
there they found out I had rotten appendix an lose of scar tissue so they took that all out.so if I'm complaining I think I have a right to complain.but I'm not I'm just telling you the way it has been for me these last few years,
I don't sleep at night but I'm lucky I have no kids so I can lay down an rest in the after noon.I hate going to bed because I get up feeling so bad in the morning.just till I can get my legs an body moveing.when I first got Heather books I live on fish,chicken,rice,oats,fennal tea.for about four months,an did a lot of praying an crying.an you have to have a good man to get you thru it an help you all the time.will it is 2:06 am so guess I'll close an try to get a few hours sleep.I could talk your leg off.we are all in the same boot.
