Decided To Do The Surgery!!       04/06/05 09:37 AM Edit Reply Quote Kimm Reged: 03/10/04 Posts: 1171 Loc: Toronto, Ontario, Canada So I saw the surgeon yesterday for my breast reduction and after lots of thought and a long talk I've decided to go ahead with the surgery. I've set the date for September 29 so that I have some time to prepare for it. He said I could have it done as early as one month from now but I'd rather not rush it. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. I told him how I absolutely under no circumstances want to throw up. I know when they put you out for surgery sometimes you react to the stuff and it makes you throw up. He listened to my concerns and promised me he would give me ALL 3 of the anti-nausea drugs at the maximum doses....but then proceeded to tell me that sometimes they don't work on people no matter how much you give them and he has had patients that just "heave all night long". LOVELY!! I tell you guys....I'm not scared of the pain, the scarring, the healing, being put out, ANYTHING....I am only terrified of throwing up when I wake up from surgery.
