Yeah, all those test really can be difficult. The endoscomy, have no idea how to spell that, the scope down the throat thing. really isn't that bad. From the sound of your fear with needles, that will be the worst part. They gave me an IV, drugged me good and woke me up when it was over! I was tired the rest of the day from the drugs and my throat was dry but that was all. Really no pain, no yucky stuff to drink. I'm curious to know what drug they were talking about?! I have Levsin and only take it when I have a really bad flare up, I'm not sure that it helps me a lot, hopefully it will work better for you!
