Because all I have heard from doctors is that you should Not take it if you are D. I was on it for about 3 weeks and I am C. I had D from it for about 3 days and then it made my colon spasm funny throughout the day. I did not like it at all and stopped it completely. I have managed my symptoms with Heather's diet and Acacia. Everyone is different and some have good luck with Zelnorm but I would find out why they are giving it to you if you are D. Good Luck!
