Many of us are going through trials besides IBS - we may be in a very dry season, spiritually or financially or physically or relationally - lonely, tired, weak, fearful, financially insecure - but God gives us hope through Christ, His Living Word:

Deuteronomy 8:7,9 -
"The LORD your God is bringing you into a good land - a land with streams and pools of water....a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing."
John 6:51 - the words of Christ -
"I am the Living Bread that came down from heaven. If a man eats of this bread, He will live forever."
Isaiah 55:11 -
"My Word that goes out from My mouth....will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

It's comforting to know that God has already provided for us everything we need, through Christ, and that His Word is powerful - it's full of hope!
Praying we'll all be able to spend time in His Word and draw strength from it! He has a message for each of us - He knows our circumstances and desires to encourage us and guide us through (all the way through!) our own "deep waters"!
