I can't imagine what you're going through right now. It's true that the role of being the empathetic ones, the "feelers" and "givers" in the family, doesn't give any rewards except the burden of seeing everything exactly as it is. I am so sorry you're going through this and feeling it so accutely. There are a lot of us here who in a similar situation would feel this with the same piercing hurt and glaring clarity, openly crying out at the injustice of circumstance and challenging the world to open its eyes, and I know it's not much, but please, please take comfort that we're with you.
