The book is called "Raising your Spirited Child" - the author's last name is Kurchinka(sp?). You may want to look for it as it was my life saver, it has many sticky notes & highlighted sections from when I took it to parent/teacher meetings! A good friend of mine now calls it her "parenting bible"! I totally understand the need to vent!
