It depends where you're having it done...they can be used to help recover from injuries for example. It makes sense that some IBS-ers that get abdominal ultrasounds have some symptoms afterwards as they work on injuries by vibrating your insides (clotted blood in injuries)!
But I'd try not to fret...that's more likely to be a problem anyway!
