I don't know maybe it is the NYer in me but there is no way I am going to let some doctor give me the runaround. I don't care if he went to med school and I only have a bachelors degree. Don't talk down to me buddy. I remember the first GI Dr. I went to. WHat a pompous jerk. He wouldnot listen to me. So, I went and got a new Dr. but wanted the records he had on me. The office was giving me a hard time about that. So, I called them up and gave them a choice "I said fax my file to my new Doctor or I am going to go down to your office and pick them up." And followed that by saying "Trust me, you want to fax the file and not have me come down there." The file was faxed in 10 minutes to my new Doctor. You have to play hardball with these people. ITS YOUR HEALTH!!
