Just wondering if anyone here has ever tried the mini-pill (progesterone only birth control pill). My doc has recommended I try it as treatment for my endometriosis, but I'm really confused about one important thing...whether or not a woman will get a monthly period while on it. Right now I piggy-back my BC pills for about 6 months at a time to avoid my period because it is so painful. Some docs have said that you shouldn't get a period on the mini-pill, but others have said you do. I can't get a straight answer and I need to know before I decide to take it
