I didn't come into the Living Room last night, so I missed this thread.
Sorry you're having a financial problem, but even sorrier that the BF isn't dealing with it well. Do you think it could be because he's not satisfied with his job? Perhaps he knows it's not enough income, and he couldn't stand the extra pressure he felt when you wanted to discuss the matter?
Is his brother still living with you? Is it not enough financial assistance? If not, then perhaps you three should consider moving to something more affordable? There's nothing worse than constant money worries, additional stress that you don't need right now.
I know you just moved into the condo a few months ago, but please give it some consideration. It may be a great place, but the biggest and best mansion ain't worth the stress.
