My h and I are the same way. He has a hard time going on a hunting trip and leaving me behind. He will call me an hour down the road to tell me he loves me and misses me and wishes I were with him. I love that! Once, I accidentally left my Norah Jones CD in the truck. He was cruising down the road and turned it on. I happened to call him to check on him, he was driving late at night, he said he was listening to my music, and he really like the woman singing, it helped him wind down from the busy week. It helped him relax, and he wanted to know who she was. I laughed and laughed, before that, I could not have gotten him interested in her, period. Being that he was without me and he found my music, he was listening to it because it brought a little bit of me there beside him. Isn't that sweet???

Girl, I have seen him cut trips short to come back home to me! A hunting trip to Colorado one year, he woke up one morning, and told the guys to break down the camp. It was time for him to go home, it didnt matter if the others were ready or not. He told them he missed his little girl (I was a tiny, curvy girl back then) and he was headed back to TX, anyone who wanted to go home had better get packed up. That was so sweet, and so funny. I also could not beleive it, because he had looked so forward to going on that trip for so many months!!! See what true love will get ya?

So, I totally understand how you miss Shane! He is your heart!! Like David is my heart!! I would hate it if he had to go away like that for his job. IT has happened in the past, but I was not working at the time and went along with him. IT just doesn't work out like that every time, but I would not trade that trip for anything.

Hey, Valentines is coming up, and that David had better get me something good! IF I think he isn't going to do it, then Katy bar the door, it will cost him double, because I think I might need some Bling !!!!! Oh yeah, love that stuff!!!!
