Hey Shell,

Thanks for the e-mail and concern! I am doing quite well these days and was actually going to give an update in the next couple days after I get a couple of assignements done from school, however, since I don't feel like working right now I figure I'd give you guys a bit of an update as to what's been happening in my life.

I left Thompson at the end of November and drove back to Ontario. It took longer than normal as I ended up spending a few days sick in Winnipeg. I spent most of Decmeber visiting friends and family. I was staying at my Mum's place so I didn't really have internet access.

At the very end of december I moved to my apartment in Hamilton. The day after I moved all my stuff in we had some really heavy rain and the carpet flooded. Nothing of mine got damaged, but the apartment didn't smell so great. While using the heater to dry up the carpets I ended up blowing a fuse (at 11 at night) and didn't have a replacement fuse. I got that all sorted out and then a couple weeks later was cleaning the fridge. It was a really really old fridge that wasn't frost free and had the freezer inside the fridge. I was de-icing it with a sharp object. After the fact, i realise that that wasn't a smart move. I poked a hole in the side and all the coolant leaked out. After some of the ice had melted, I was able to see the "Do not de-frost using a sharp object" sign in the fridge. .... not my finest hour.

Besides the apartment woes, I'm loving being back at school. Things are now getting busy and I'm not used to the amount of reading I should be doing, however, being back in civilization, learning new things and meeting new people (with teeth no less! ) is a really wonderful experience.

I've also gotten a job as a pre-board screener at Hamilton airport. This weekend was my first weekend so of course we had a massive snow storm. Things were crazy, but over all the passngers were really nice, even though they had to spend the entire day at the airport just to have their flights cancelled. My car wouldn't start at the end of the night!

I've also been spending less time online. I do miss you guys, but I must say it's really nice to actually have motivation to get up and do things outside of the house which I didn't before. I even saw a doc who was really great regarding my IBS, he gave me some free samples of dicetel and I've been on them for a week or so now. Not realy sure if I notice any difference, but it's nice to be trying something.

I'll try to be on a little more regularily. But I have to say a big THANK YOU to everybody on here. You guys really were my lifelife when I was feeling really down in Thompson. You really helped me out more than you can ever know. Thank you so much.

Jamie
